The Mindfulness and Change Group (MCG) is pleased to announce openings for three, one-year, full-time Post-Doctoral Fellowships beginning in September 2025. This position is an excellent opportunity for the burgeoning professional psychologist who would like to specialize in evidence-based treatment of anxiety- and OCD-related disorders, PTSD and trauma-related disorders, or DBT. Our faculty provides assessment and treatment for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, PTSD, suicidal and self-harming behavior, and disruptive behavior.
Post-Doctoral Fellows at MCG will gain further training and clinical experience in one of three areas: CBT/anxiety and OCD-related treatment for adults, CBT/PTSD and trauma-related treatment for adults, or DBT/emotion regulation-related treatment for adolescents and adults. Fellows will have the opportunity to provide individual and group therapy from a CBT or DBT lens. Post-Doctoral Fellows can also elect to receive specialized training in single session treatment for phobias or trauma treatment (Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, TrIGR, WET, and STAIR). Fellows who choose the DBT training experience will receive the necessary training to begin the Linehan Board of Certification process upon licensure.
MCG is committed to continued learning and professional excellence. As such, fellows will spend at least 35-45% of their time in clinical work. The remainder of their time will be spent receiving individual and group supervision and participating in consultation teams and research review. Fellows will also attend workshops and seminars held throughout the year.
Salary and benefits are competitive. MCG offers multiple comprehensive, national, medical insurance plans, dental, vision, supplemental life, voluntary long-term disability, and voluntary short-term disability insurances. Fellows will also receive employer-paid life insurance and employer-paid accidental death and dismemberment insurance equivalent to 1-2x your salary.
Eight paid national holidays are included and two floating holidays of your choice. Funding for attendance at one professional conference is also included.

Positions Sought
One adult psychotherapist who is trained in providing PE and CPT, among other trauma therapies
One child psychotherapist who is trained in providing PTSD and trauma treatment for children and adolescents
Required Experience and Education
Independent licensure is preferred; Must be licensed or license-eligible in Massachusetts.
Doctorate in Clinical/Counseling/School Psychology (PhD/PsyD/EdD) preferred, LICSW and LMHC very welcome
Previous experience providing individual therapy with evidence-based treatments such as (but not limited to): exposure/exposure with response prevention, prolonged exposure, intensive one-session treatment for specific phobias, habit reversal training, parent-child interaction therapy, or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Previous experience providing PE or CPT or TF-CBT or MATCH-ADTC is required.

We are looking for a motivated colleague to lead our team and fulfill our mission of providing targeted evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, and adults who need DBT. As a member of our DBT team you would be joining a group of professionals who are committed to excellence. We meet weekly for an in-person, adherent, DBT consultation team and a DBT adherence meeting. Our DBT program offers phone coaching, individual therapy, multiple adolescent and adult DBT groups, family therapy, and parent coaching. We are committed to DBT-Linehan Board of Certification and regularly attend conferences such as ISITDBT together. Our program is dynamic and changing, and we work hard to reduce burn-out, collaborate on cases, and find ways to bring fun and innovation to our work.
Required Experience and Education
● Must be licensed to practice psychotherapy in the United States. Preference will be given to those licensed in Massachusetts
● Previous experience providing DBT to adolescents and/or adults is required
● Doctorate in Clinical/Counseling Psychology (PhD/PsyD/EdD), LICSW, LMHC
● Completion of BTech DBT Foundational Training preferred
● Candidates with DBT-Linehan Board of Certification will be given preference over candidates without DBT-LBC certification
● Previous experience providing individual therapy with evidence-based treatments such as (but not limited to): RO-DBT, exposure therapy with response prevention, intensive one-session treatment for specific phobias, parent management training, cognitive processing therapy, prolonged exposure therapy, EMDR, COM-B, habit reversal training, etc.

Responsibilities
Manage and supervise program staff to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to DBT standards, congruent with DBT-LBC certification.
Oversee and manage program development initiatives to enhance services for individuals needing DBT services throughout the lifespan (childhood to adulthood)
Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including community partners, government agencies, and families.
Provide administrative oversight for all program-related activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in delivering adherent and DBT-informed treatment.
Monitor program performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to promote a positive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven supervisory experience in a relevant field
Strong management skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively
Strong background in psychology/social work and behavioral health
Administrative experience to ensure smooth operational processes
Expertise in program management and development, particularly around innovative programs that meet the needs of the communities we serve
Exceptional organizational and relationship management skills
Excellent relationship management skills to engage effectively with staff and clientele with a variety of learning styles and psychological presentations
